Wow!! Ten Months!! Our baby gets sweeter by the day! She has such a big personality and shows it to everyone in sight! She really makes friends everywhere we go! She still makes all her funny faces and shakes her head at people that she knows react to it.
Our active girl does not sit still :) She is still doing her funny crawl and is cruising (holding on walking) around all the furniture. She has let go for a couple of seconds a couple of times.
Beyond anything else, she loves food! The only time she sometimes gets fussy is when I'm in the kitchen cooking and not feeding her immediately! She eats everything! Her favorites are blueberries, avocados and sweet potatoes! She nurses about 5 times a day. She makes lots of sounds, "says" good (because we say 'good job' a lot), yay, eieiei (and then I'm always tempted to sing Old McDonald), and the all the mama, dada, papa, bubba, baba sounds.
Emma is sleeping better now - toward the end of 10 months. Thanks to her TWO teeth, just after she turned 9 months and I wrote that she was sleeping until 7:30, she started waking at 5:30 or 6:30. Lately she has been sleeping until 6:30 or 7:30! And she will go back to sleep some mornings after nursing if it is before 7:00. She naps two times most days, every once in a while three times. When she gets tired she crawls toward me, hints for me to hold her, sucks her thumb and either rubs her own head (she's done this since she was just a few months old) or pats me on the back as I hold her - so sweet!!
We kept having to distract her so she wouldn't crawl away!
