15 Month Checkup!

Well, Emma's new favorite phrase, "You So Big" is a perfect intro to her 15 month stats! Our baby girl has grown! See stats below! She had a great checkup! All healthy! He said she is saying more words than the norm for her age and so she doesn't need to come in at 18 months for the linguistics checkup. We've written down 26 words that she has said intentionally and more than once. Her newest favorites are, "shoe" and "you so big", which she has repeated non-stop for the last two days! He said by 18 months we need to add just a few words and two part commands (ex. go get the book and take it to daddy). We haven't tried this to see what she does...we just know she follows one part instructions (sometimes). She still just has 6 teeth, but the doc expects the next bottom two to be coming soon.

15 Month Stats!
She weighed 22lbs, 13oz and was 31-1/8" long!
50% for weight/ 60% for height/ 80% head

Ignacio and I failed to take any pictures while at the appointment! But here are a few pics from this morning after she woke up happy...little did she know she was going to get 4 shots this afternoon!

She was calling her dada!

Mendoza Bound!

Pictures from our first two days of our trip to Argentina!

Emma did great on the planes getting there!

25 hours later we arrived in Mendoza!

Going through Immigrations in Argentina!!

Cousin Santi had a special welcome sign for Emma! Emma was so happy to see her Abu, Aunts and Uncles and meet the family she had never met before!
Aunt J brought Santi red cowboy boots from Texas!
Playing at Abu's house was so much fun!!

Emma got to meet Tio Martin!
Emma loved all of the attention she got from her family!!

How to choose a Pumpkin!

At the beginning of October Grammy and I took Emma to the pumpkin patch at our church in Mexia!

Emma helped Grammy choose the perfect pumpkin for our house!

Sold!

Drew and Emma had a pumpkin photo session! We were all in town for the Mexia '99 Class Reunion :)

Z is for Zoo!

Emma and I were treated to a trip to the zoo with Aunt Jill and cousins Piper and Levi on Monday!
Emma had never been to a zoo & it was fun seeing her curiously gaze at the animals.

Emma fed the giraffe! I was a little afraid of the giraffe's tongue, which was the size of Emma! Jill and I were surprised to see the giraffes run - so cool! They galloped like horses.

Cute cousins!
Cowboy Levi!
And cowgirl Piper!

Levi called the goat a doggie and Emma thought it was a bubba ;)

Fish tank!
