New Year!!

Andres and Mapis came from Georgia to spend the week after Christmas with us! They brought Emma soft blocks that she loves to play with all the time!

We had a fun New Year's Eve - Ignacio grilled Argentina style and we told old stories waiting for midnight! Emma woke up close to midnight and she was full of energy, so she was able to join in on the New Year's celebration! We took pictures, drank champagne (Emma didn't join in on this!), and ate our 12 grapes representing wishes for the year! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Four Months!

At Emma's 4 Month Check-up she weighed 11 lbs, 5 oz and was 24" long!

5% for weight/ 45% for height/ 55% for head

She got more shots :( and we all did better this round than last (even though Ignacio did almost cry :).

Cabin in the Woods

Ignacio surprised Emma and me with a cabin getaway! Ignacio and I have gone to a cabin for a few days for the last two years and I just assumed we were skipping this year...but on our way to Mexia he took the 31 exit in Corsicana and drove us to a cabin on Cedar Creek Lake!  It was the same cabin we went to last year, where I told Ignacio we were pregnant!  I honestly had No Idea! He had packed a cooler with drinks and breakfast, lunch and dinner foods! 

We had a great time relaxing, exploring and enjoying our baby!!
